Reducing on the candies and desserts that you take is only a small contribution towards the solution since sugar is hidden in other foods such as margarine, cereals, frozen dinners, bread, pasta sauce, canned vegetables and soups, fast foods, low fat meals, ketchup and instant mashed potatoes. Your body has a mechanism of acquiring all the sugar it needs naturally so your intake of all this foods with added sugars only gives you empty calories.
Eat a lot of fruits and vegetables
Vegetables and fruits are dense in nutrients and have low levels of calories. They are well filed with fiber, minerals, vitamins and antioxidants. You should focus on having the minimum five servings daily and it aid your journey by filling you up naturally and aid in your quest to cut down your intake of unhealthy foods. You can serve yourself with raw fruit half a cup or a small piece of apple or banana.
